Dear friends,

Summer in this country is the most wonderful time of the year. The countryside is in bloom, the fields and hedgerows alive with animal life. Warm sunny days, light evenings, holidays looming. - perfect!

It is at this time of the year that it is easy to see the hand of the Creator in His creation. The order, the beauty, the diversity of life, the feeling of how good it is to be alive - all point us to the One who is behind it all.

God is seen with the eyes of faith in his creation, just as the skilled eyes of the art critic might see the hand of a particular artist in a piece of work. With what skill and subtlety does God reveal Himself to those who would seek Him!

Once we have seen God's signature in the beauty around us we wonder how we managed to miss it previously, or how others cannot see the obvious!

God who gives His creation a freewill to follow His ways or not; to accept Him or not; to see Him or choose to ignore Him; the same God can be found everywhere we look, His handy work proclaims His glory. Holiday time is upon us once again.

Holidays are indeed "holy days". Time for relaxation, refreshment, getting away from the ordinary and everyday. It is very important that we take a break for a holiday and recharge our physical, mental and spiritual batteries. Time to do things we want to do, with our family and friends.

Holidays are a good time to think about life and take stock of our lives. They are a chance to really look at the world and see God's signature - and simply to say "thank you".

Seeing God in His creation really will make your holidays, "holy days"!

I hope you all enjoy your holidays - whenever you have them and wherever you get to - have a good time, relax and take time to really look at the world.
