Rural Dean's View - September 2012
Dear friends,
How often in Church do you hear "the peace of the Lord be with you".
God’s peace rests in each one of us, for it is part of His image in which we were created.
However, that peace is often masked in our lives and of those around us. Sometimes it feels, that peace is taken from us, often by others or outside events in our lives.
When we are tempted into anger against someone or something else, that inner peace is masked. When we become hostile, bitter, spiteful, manipulative or vengeful because others do not respond to use favourably, or when things do not go the way we want them to do, then we make invisible the peace within us.
Whatever we do, we must do in the Name of Jesus our Lord. Then we will keep His peace in our hearts.
May the peace of the Lord be always with you.
God bless.
