Rural Dean's View - December 2012
Dear friends,
The end of another year is a time for reflection.
Where has life taken us, what has happened to us and our families, have we rejoiced with many blessings or cried through many difficulties?
Has it been a good last year?
It was a year of celebration and Jubilee.
For the Queen, her family, the country and Commonwealth.
It was a time of great sporting achievement and personal milestones at the Olympics.
For many it was the start of married life together from the many weddings that took place in the Benefice.
A year of celebration of new life and membership of the Church for the many who were Baptised in the Benefice churches.
For many it was a year to say goodbye to family and friends and pass through the gates of death into the next world of the Kingdom.
Whatever this last year has offered you I pray that you have felt God's presence and His blessing upon you and your family.
My prayer is that the New Year will bring you peace, joy and love.
May God bless and keep each and every one of you our parishioners in this coming New Year.
You are prayed for every day in the Benefice.
