Broken Tiles

The roof requires a great deal of work to make it water-tight and thus stop damp associated problems becoming exacerbated. In a number of places the clay tiles are in very poor condition.

Cracked tiles let the water in which causes many interior problems for the church. In this picture the guttering has actually detached causing damp problems to the North wall.

North Aisle Roof

The stone work itself has become worn and frost damaged and is in desperate need of repair. Much of the lead-work needs replacing or repairing.

South Aisle Roof

Much of the South aisle's roof does not drain properly leading to accumulation of moss which exacerbates the problem.

Again there is a considerable build up of moss. The roof itself is also in a poor condition.
