Bansfield Benefice Committee

Overview

The Benefice committee is drawn from members of each of the seven churches of the benefice - usually the Churchwardens and the Treasurers. They meet with the Rector four times a year to discuss matters pertaining to the benefice as a whole. Their recommendations are taken back to the individual PCCs. The Benefice Committee used to meet twice a year until it was decided to increase this to four times a year in 2010.
