The interregnum prior to Revd Ian Finn's Institution and Induction in Wickhambrook church in 1999 led to the formation of the Bansfield Benefice when the parishes of Cowlinge, Denston, Lidgate, Ousden, Stansfield, Stradishall and Wickhambrook were brought together under the one Priest-in-charge.
