Revd Stephen Abbott's Institution and Induction was conducted by the Rt Revd Clive Young, Bishop of Dunwich; the Ven David Brierley, Archdeacon of Sudbury and Revd Ian Finn, Rural Dean of Clare. We are pleased to announce that Revd Stephen Abbott's Institution and Induction will be on Tuesday September 2nd 2008 at 7.30 pm at All Saints' church, Wickhambrook. You are all very welcome to attend this ceremony. Further details will be made available as they are known.

Announcement of new Rector - 16th March 2008

"The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Stephen Abbott as next rector of the Bansfield Benefice.

After a wide ranging ministry, including incumbencies at Brandon and Great Barton in this Diocese, Stephen took a time out of stipendiary ministry.

Because Stephen has been working most recently in teaching, the Bishop wants him to conclude his contract with the school and take a pre-arranged family holiday before settling to this new and exciting phase in his ministry and ours.

His Institution and Induction will be on Tuesday September 2nd 2008 at 7.30 pm."
