Archdeacon of Sudbury

The diocese has two Archdeacons. The Archdeacon of Sudbury - the Ven David Jenkins is the Archdeacon with responsibility for the Bansfield Benefice. He is responsible for the induction of churchwardens in the Archdeaconry and once a year conducts the archdeacon's visitation when he or the Rural Dean inspects the churches of the Archdeaconry.
