On Saturday the 10th September is our annual fund raising sponsored bicycle ride for All Saints' Wickhambrook and the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust. Visit by bike or on foot as few or as many churches as you wish. It's a great day out for all the family and there are refreshments at all the churches you visit. An open-air performance of Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives Of Windsor" at All saints' Church Wickhambrook at 7-00pm. Gates open at 6pm, please bring a picnic.

An open-air performance of Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure" at
Doctor's Barn at 7-00pm. Gates open at 6pm, please bring a

The Bumstead Boys (4-11-06)
"Ruby and her horses" - This is a true life narrative about Ruby's love of horses set against the hard life in the agricultural depression of the 1920s and 30s. The performance comprises some accordion playing, a show of digitally enhanced photographs and narrative. Tickets are £7. The performance is for 7-30pm with a prompt start at 8-pm. There will be light refreshments.

History Talk (24-05-06)
In conjunction with the Wickhambrook History Society on Wednesday the 24th
of May from 7pm to 9pm Clive Paine, Historian, author and broadcaster will
talk about All Saints' church giving a unique insight into the building. It
promises to be a most stimulating event. Tickets are £5 and include

Manor House Marquee Lunch (25-09-05)
For our next church restoration appeal event we are holding a marquee
lunch in the elegant grounds of The Manor House. The event starts
at 12-30pm on Sunday the 25th September.
Tickets are priced at £20 which includes lunch and your first glass
of wine. We are very fortunate in having Martin Bell as our guest speaker.

We are having our annual Christmas party at the WI Hall at 7-30pm
on Saturday 4th December. Tickets including supper and first glass

This is always a great evening event with excellent food.

Open Gardens and Bar-B-Q (10-08-03)
By popular request - Open gardens and bar-B-Q event (similar format
to last year) on Sunday 10th August only this year there is the
added opportunity to visit Clopton Hall in the first time in over 20
years as well as to visit the old Cloak Inn open to the public for
the first time since it went into private ownership. [Details]
Black Tie dinner dance with auction (17-05-03)
Other dates for your diary include a Black Tie dinner and dance
with auction at the Memorial Hall on Saturday 17th May (Tickets
£25). There will be some really fabulous items for auction, a real
"not to be missed" event. [Details]

For our next church restoration appeal event we are holding a marquee
lunch in the elegant grounds of The Manor House. The event starts
at 12-30pm on Sunday the 27th April and the marquee will be heated.
Tickets are priced at £15 which includes lunch and your first glass
of wine. We are very fortunate in having Lord Phillips of Sudbury
as our guest speaker.

We are arranging a Black Tie Dinner Dance at the MSC Hall on 26th
October, tickets £25 a head and this promises to be a great night
out.
The Bumpstead Boys (12-10-02) Sold Out
As part of our on-going church restoration appeal on Saturday 12th
October the Bumpstead Boys are holding a concert at the Wickhambrook
Memorial Social Centre at 7-00pm for 7-30pm. They will be "making
merry in song with banter and dancing". This is being organised
by the Wickhambrook Local History Society from whom tickets (£6

There is to be a Fund raising Lunch at Rolfe's Farm on Sunday the
2nd September 2001 commencing at 12-30pm. Tickets are priced at
£10 for adults, £5 for under 12 and free for under fives.
The ticket includes a free glass of wine.
